Most people want to hear God’s voice when they are facing a decision or when life has beaten them down.  The primary way God speaks to us is through His revealed and written word.  Proverbs 3:6 (NLT) states “Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take”. 

Pray and ask God for wisdom then wait patiently to hear His voice.  Be intentional about reading His word, pray without ceasing and most importantly be quiet and listen for His voice, not your own.  When you hear God’s voice respond eagerly and obey Him.
