Lord Breathe On Us

March 11, 2021 | By |

Have you ever seriously thought about why God breathed life into the nostrils of man? Breath is cleansing. In Genesis 2:7 it says “then the Lord God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature.” God created us to related to Him, to engage in productive work, and to be morally responsible to Him. During this season God is reminding us of who breathes life into us, who gives us grace and mercy every day and why we should live every day of our lives for His glory. Our purpose is to pour into others by sharing who God is and why we should all serve Him. Normally breathing is something we do without thinking. Shortness of breath means you’re consciously thinking about breathing, even while you’re at rest. When you open your eyes every morning, don’t forget who breathes into you and gives you life. Make every day count by choosing to serve God and help lead other to Him. “You can do this by studying God’s Word, applying what you’ve learned, living in obedience to God and teaching others about God.” Remember, without God’s breath, we would not live. Call out to God and ask Him to breathe on all of us. God continues to breathe on the S.A.L.T. Connection. Donations are welcomed as our program continues to provide biblical and mentorship training to Christian women. We are a 501 3(c) and every dollar donated goes directly to furthering Kingdom Building. You can make donations by clicking here.
